These Terms & conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the CortexMarket website and related services (“Service”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility & accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. You must provide accurate information where requested.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable law or third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts.
- Interfere with or overload the Service (including denial-of-service style behavior).
- Upload malware, deceptive content, or material that is unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory.
- Misrepresent identity, manipulate markets or leaderboards, or abuse review or submission flows.
User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, process, and distribute that content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service, including moderation and admin review. You represent that you have the rights to grant this license.
Markets & information
Market listings, probabilities, and related information are provided for informational and product purposes only. Nothing on the Service is financial, legal, or investment advice. Outcomes and pricing may be experimental or simulated depending on deployment. Past or displayed performance is not a guarantee of future results.
Third parties
The Service may link to or integrate third-party sites, agents, or tools. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORTEXMARKET AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS, IF NO FEES APPLIED.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify CortexMarket and its operators against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our intentional misconduct.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will indicate updates by changing the “Last updated” date. Material changes may require additional notice where required by law. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to your deployment’s operator, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
